Firmly Agentic Commerce

Catalog configuration

The merchant chooses how much of their store to expose to Firmly’s network of agents, publishers, and marketplaces — either the entire catalog (auto-synced, new products added as they appear in the merchant’s commerce backend) or a curated subset that Firmly’s team helps scope.

The same surface is used during onboarding and as a post-onboarding configuration page.

 Two modes (radio cards)

Mode What it does Marked as
Entire Catalog Sell all products across enabled destinations. New products auto-sync, inventory updates in real time. Recommended — fastest to launch, maximum exposure, simplified management
Selected Products (Subset) A curated set of product categories or individual products. Allows destination-specific catalogs and testing with limited inventory. Advanced — after you save this mode, Firmly’s team reaches out to scope the specific selection with you; you can also flag it in the onboarding conversation with your Firmly contact

 How the save flow works

  • Default is Entire Catalog. If the merchant has no existing catalog configuration on first visit, the page pre-selects Entire Catalog.
  • Save is required even if accepting the default. On first visit there is no saved value yet, so Save is enabled and the merchant clicks it once to record the default. After a value is saved, the Save button is disabled until the selection differs from the saved value.
  • First save during onboarding advances the wizard. When the merchant saves this task during onboarding, the page returns them to the task menu so they can pick up the next task.

 The product list (read-only)

A separate “Products” view under the Catalog section in the sidebar shows what Firmly has ingested from the merchant’s commerce backend.

  • Search by name
  • Paginated (24 per page, with “Load more”)
  • Read-only — no edit / delete. The merchant’s commerce backend remains the source of truth
  • Empty state until sync completes. Until Firmly’s integration has finished syncing, the list shows “Products will appear here once they are synced from your store” — the merchant uses this as a sanity check that integration is working. Sync typically completes by the time KYB is approved; if the list is still empty well after that, check with your Firmly contact

 Gating

  • KYB-gated during onboarding. The catalog task stays locked behind KYB approval. See Onboarding wizard.
  • Post-onboarding, always reachable. The merchant can broaden or narrow what’s shared as their store changes.
