Portal

Once a merchant is live, the Merchant Portal is where they run their store on Firmly’s network day-to-day. It’s the same surface that hosted the Onboarding Wizard — the page flips from the Onboarding Wizard task menu to the post-onboarding Merchant Portal home.

​​ What’s in the portal

Merchant home KPIs across the top (revenue, AOV, active destinations), with deeper breakdowns below. Audit logs Append-only record of every team action and configuration change. Compliance and “who turned this on?” answers. Team management Invite teammates, change roles, remove members, transfer ownership. Roles: Primary Owner, Owner, Editor, Viewer. Domains and SSO Register domains, verify with DNS TXT, enforce SSO per-domain, configure Identity Providers (OIDC, SAML). UCP configuration Forward the merchant’s /.well-known/ucp endpoint to Firmly. Per-platform setup guides plus a verification probe.

​​ Two states on the merchant home

The merchant home surface has two states on the same page:

  • Onboarding in progress — renders the Onboarding Wizard task menu
  • Live — renders the dashboard with KPIs and breakdowns

The page switches to the live dashboard automatically once onboarding is complete and Firmly has approved go-live.

​​ Role-based access

Role Can do
Primary Owner Everything, plus ownership transfer (exactly one Primary Owner per merchant)
Owner Everything except ownership transfer
Editor Edit settings and operational data, except the owner-only areas below
Viewer Read-only

Some features — audit logs, SSO configuration, ownership transfer, and the custom adapter editor — are restricted to Owner / Primary Owner / Firmly admin only; Editors are excluded from these. The custom adapter editor lives under Settings for merchants on a custom stack (see Credentials & API Access → Custom adapter merchants).
